Overview
Solio is a private ranch and wildlife conservancy in the Laikipia plateau, with Mount Kenya and the Aberdares on the horizon. Its fenced rhino sanctuary has been so successful that rhino bred here have been moved to restock other parks across Kenya.
The open plains and marshland make it one of the best places in the country to photograph rhino at close range.
