Overview
Zanzibar combines brilliant white beaches and turquoise lagoons with a rich history as a centre of the Indian Ocean spice and trade routes. Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a labyrinth of alleys, carved doors, markets and rooftop cafés.
It is the classic beach finale to a Tanzania safari, just a short flight from the Serengeti or Arusha.
